  • 10 February 2009. The Royal Bank is now offering the RDSP. Here is the link to the press release.

 

  • 27 December 2008. Updated Daily Service Record in Files page to reflect CRA issues.

 

  • 23 December 2008. The federal government has extended the 2008 deadline for contributing to an RDSP to 2 March 2009. The 2009 contribution year starts on 3 March. The Bank of Montreal  is the first major bank to offer the RSDP.

 

  • 7 November 2008. Autism Funding in BC is now operational! Welcome all!

 

  • 19 September 2008. The Prime Minister has announced that if he is re-elected, he will bring in income splitting for parents of disabled children. See here for more details. It's too bad he won't announce autism treatment funding for families who so desperately need it.

 

  • 27 June 2008. The BC Government has announced that Community Living BC (CLBC) will now be reporting directly to the minister.  The responsibilities for services delivered to children and families by CLBC have moved to the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
