Summer Camps
Summer camp can be an enriching experience for some kids and a welcome break for parents. I don't have any recommendations for individual camps, but the Autism Society of British Columbia (ASBC) and ACT maintain a list of camps available.
You should investigate if the camp in question allows you to bring along an aide of your own choosing. Surprisingly many do not.
The Canucks Autism Network (CAN) also offers weekend camps and sporting events.
Are there any funds available?
The ASBC has a Summer Reimbursement Program for current members of the ASBC.
