Special Education Technology - British Columbia
SET-BC is a Ministry of Education Provincial Resource Program established to assist school districts in educating students whose access to the curriculum is restricted primarily due to the following disabilities:
- physical disability
- visual impairment
- autism
What do they do?
They provide technology to assist the student who may otherwise have difficulty with the school curriculum through the use of appropriate educational and communication technologies.
What kind of equipment is available?
Laptops, desktops and specialized software are available for loan. A complete list of programs is available here.

The student's teacher is the start point for the application. Refer to the SET-BC website for the procedure to follow.
