If the ABA therapy costs are dependant on one or two salaries, try to imagine what would happen if one of those sources were eliminated.
Disability insurance
Along the same lines you may want to look at disability insurance in case the income earner is inconsiderate enough to not die, but rather become incapacitated.
Liability Insurance
You should determine if you are required to register with Worksafe BC. Coverage with Worksafe BC should cover you off for work place injuries. Refer to my page Worksafe BC for more information. A visit to your insurance broker to discuss liability insurance (which is usually part of your home insurance package) regarding your circumstances would be time well spent.
